Developing a precise, very accurate parcel landbase is one of Lynx Technologies’ core competencies and true passions. Over 1,000,000 parcels over the last 15 years have been digitized, spliced, and registered to meet very strict tolerances. Whether urban or rural, we meet or exceed clients’ expectations using a variety of control and conversion processes. COordinate GeOmetry (COGO) of record drawings along with GPS and/or digital orthophotography allow us to meet 0.4’ horizontal accuracy. Our standard approach couples heads-up digitizing, assessor maps and recorded drawing, to develop very strict planimetric control and parcels accuracy to within 1 –2 feet.
